    The king bed is located in a cozy loft accessed by ladder-style access. Because the king bed takes up most of the loft footprint, guests should expect to crawl or scoot into bed rather than walk normally around the sleeping area.

    This is part of Firefly’s unique charm, but it is not the right fit for everyone.

    Firefly is best suited for active adults comfortable with climbing, crouching, and unconventional sleeping spaces. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations, knee or back concerns, balance issues, frequent nighttime bathroom needs, or anyone who prefers a traditional bedroom setup.

    A downstairs sofa bed is available as a backup option, but Firefly is designed and listed for 2 guests maximum.

  • Firefly Cottage is located 10 minutes from the gates of Whiteman Air Force Base and 15 minutes from Warrensburg Missouri. It sits on 13 rural acres off blacktop. Secluded enough to feel like you are getting away yet close to restaurants, shopping and events at both Whiteman Air Force Base and University of Central Missouri.

  • Firefly is a tiny home designed to accommodate 2 adults.

  • Lots of things! Firefly sits five minutes away from Knob Noster State Park, offering hiking and biking trails. Spend the day in the woods and then pop into Warrensburg for dinner and a movie or walk around the cute downtown.

  • Firefly Cottage is a pet free accomodation.
